Auditions: The Cottage

Tuesday and Wednesday December 16th & 17th from 6:30-7:30p.m.

The Cottage is a sexy screwball comedy set in 1923.

Auditioners should prepare a one-minute comic monologue. Material for cold readings will also be provided.

Production dates are February 6 – 28, 2026. Regular rehearsals will begin in January.

ROLES

Roles for 3 women & 3 men aged 25-50 are:

Sylvia, a lovely and rash romantic

Beau, perhaps the best-looking man in Britain

Marjorie, eight months pregnant, and a tad spicy

Clarke, a distinguished gent with a lover’s spirit

Dierdre, an awfully pretty, sometimes wise, nincompoop

Richard, a murderous, yet gentle soul.
